French Minister has visited ISRO Headquarters

 H. E Jean-Yves Le Drian, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Government of the Republic of France visited the Headquarters of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and had discussions with Dr K. Sivan, Secretary, Department of Space/ Chairman, ISRO and other senior officials. Ambassador of France to India, Consul General at Bangalore and a few other officials have accompanied the Minister.


Evolution and achievements of the Indian space programme and India-France space cooperation and details of the recent space reforms announced by the Government of India were presented to the Minister.

An Implementing Arrangement between ISRO’s Human Space Flight Centre (HSFC) and the French National Space Agency (CNES) for cooperation concerning the Human Spaceflight programme, specifically on sharing of expertise in space medicine, was exchanged during this visit.

The Minister with his delegation has also visited ISRO’s Human Space Flight Centre (HSFC).
